Ok, this will take some practice. This blog format doesnt like the droid 1st 3 days I have ridden 140 miles (days 1 & 2, 70 day 3). Thank god for hot showers @ the campgrounds. Flights and travel down were super easy. Bike went together like clockwork. So I needed a reality check (I guess). 2 flat tires on day one... kevlar anti-puncture strips = bad idea!
Yikes!!!! That is an image for you!!!! Outside ring seems like spiky, hurtful fencing....and a cute joyful, giving XMass wreath!!!! I think I like the XMass lights on your bike better!!!!! ...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the picture!!!!
Another way to look at it.....outside protection for inner beauties.
ReplyDeleteAfterall this IS Texas!!!! Whatever....Happy Holiday to all!
And to think I've been sending all the barbed wire on my land to the scrap metal bin...I can't believe I hadn't thought of using it as a Christmas decoration...maybe garland on the tree.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I really liked the wreath. Everything out here is thorny and rough, it's just the way of the land. Just walking into the bushes to pee can hurt you 'real bad'. That said, these ranchers worked up some christmas spirit in keeping with the landscape, using local materials... I don't know, I thought it was a creative way to use some rusty barbed wire. I can certainly see how it could seem otherwise though...
